The mechanics of shooting portion is taught with red handle firearms and functioning training firearms that measure accuracy. This course is taught in a 3-hour block of instruction by firearms experts.

Concealed Weapons Training
Are you interested in carrying a concealed weapon in South Carolina? Look no further than BSAC for your training. While South Carolina is now a Constitutional Carry state, it's crucial to understand the laws and receive proper training. Our Concealed Weapons Training course covers all essential topics, ensuring you're well-prepared and confident.
This course will exceed the standard concealed weapons class. Our comprehensive course includes thorough instruction on safety measures, proper storage techniques, use of weapons with holsters, mechanics of shooting, legal aspects for concealed carry, and practical application at the range. You'll receive the same level of training as professional gun handlers at BSAC's CWT.

Rifle/Pistol
This course is offered to provide a foundational understanding of the mechanics of shooting rifles and pistols. In today's world, it is not enough to own or carry a gun, you must be a proficient protector of yourself, your family, and others.
During the Rifle/Pistol course, participants will be taught essential topics including the mechanics of shooting, sight alignment, trigger manipulation, efficient magazine changes, effective sling usage, immediate action drills, seamless rifle-to-pistol transitions, use of cover/concealment as well as an introduction to shooting while moving. This course is taught in an eight-hour block at a range.
